My name is Joeri Frenaij, i live in the fortified city of Naarden in The Netherlands and i am a full licenced Ham-amareur since 26 januari 2017.

For many years i have been a Signal Corps collector and WW2 reenactor, the last few years i only go to e few interesting events.

I’m interested is in radio’s and radio techniques from ww2 till about the 80’s. I also collect old working test equipment that i use for repair; old stuff must be repaired with old repair equipment…… As a side-step im also interested in Tetra and Mototrbo form Motorola for the use at events i support.

I like to do research on te radio’s i own and post the results on this website. For the research i have a lage collection of Army Manuals that can be used with the Army Manuals link in the menu

My collection goal is the collect a complete SCR-499;

This is the first radio-station type radio-set that entered Normandy and reported to England and the BBC until the end of the war. On a other page of this website i have posted more information about this great set. If you have pieces op this great radio-set you like to part with, please let me know. Below a photo of a few bits of the set i have collected until now.

Please enjoy my website and comment if you have more information.
